This last quarter of 2019 was a very productive season! I also had 2 weddings this last quarter. More on this soon! 

I was back in the studio with John Herzog Photography, this time with Courtney Jamison- a multi-hyphenated artist. Beautiful inside and out! 

• Her makeup look for the first few head shots was accomplished with a light layer of Mary Kay Creme to Powder foundation. 
• Followed up with natural highlights on the nose and under the eyes.
• Complimentary natural hue eyeshadow for her eyes. 
• Combination of lipstick and gloss on her lips. 
• Her blush was a touch of bronzer. 
• We added a natural strip lash to those beautiful eyes. 
• Hair is in its natural state. Fullness added!

• Her makeup look for these last few shots was accomplished with a touch up of the light layer of Mary Kay Creme to Powder foundation.
• Followed up with a little more play-up on the eyes- smokier version with a silvery grape tone and a light charcoal crease (Mary Kay). 
• Eyeliner and brows were deepened for more definition. 
• Lipstick was also deepened and pulled from the berry family.

For Madelyn, we also used Mary Kay Creme to Powder Foundation. Her makeup look for this first head shot was a more traditional polished professional look but with nontraditional eye work. 

• I added a complimentary forest green eyeshadow along the crease. I like keeping the eye lid as clean as possible with looks that include heavier crease colors. 
• On the lid, I used a champagne cream sheen eye-shadow. There is something about seeing the entire eyelid that really makes the eyes pop!
• Eyeliner is very minimal in this look. Only the top lash line along with a natural strip lash is lined with a very thin layer of black liquid liner. The bottom lash was lightly lined with a brown liner more on the outer ends of the lash line. 
• Brows were lightly groomed and filled in with a brow definer. 
• Lipstick was pulled from the red family but glossed over with a peach hue gloss.
• Blush was a very light bronzer.
• Hair was a semi side part, and curled loose all the way around. Leaving the bang a little less curled to shape and create a partial swoop across the forehead.

• I kept all the same eye detail and blush from the previous shot. 
• Lips were toned down a bit into a more natural flesh tone pink hue.
• Hair was pinned from the crown up and over to her right side. I left a little tensile of hair on her left side. In the back (not shown), hair was twisted up and pinned towards the rest of the curls. A touch up curl with a curling iron for stray pieces.
• Also for the hair, I only use a light holding spray after hair is curled and styled to keep from building too much product on the hair.

All makeup from this shot and the hot below is mentioned in the previous photo detail! I changed nothing! For the hair, we placed the part down the middle. Moose was used to help smooth out the curls. Note to self: Next time I will be sure to fully comb out the curls first before applying another styling agent like moose for this look. Moose did the job but I had some intermittent tangles! Nonetheless this is one of my favorite shots from Madelyn's session.
